Everyone during their lifetime has had someone that's difficult to love. It could be a mother-in-law, a neighbor, a relative or co-worker. Our response in dealing with them would be avoidance, confrontation or an attempt to make peace. How do we love some who's unlovely?
We don't...because wecan't in our own human, carnal nature. We need the author of Love and allow Him to Love that person through us ( I John 4:7-8). GOD IS LOVE. He proved how much he Loves us by becoming human like us. He lived in our midst and in the end put His life on the limb (tree) as the ultimate sacrifice for sin that separated us from Himself (God) all because he loves us, (John 3:16).
Evidence of His Love is all around us. Our hearts beat fast when we see the order and majesty of the heavens, all the varieties in the animal kingdom, aquatic life, birds, tree's and flowers---all created for our pleasure and His. The order alone in nature keeps life on this planet sustainable. As we look around at this wonderful world how can we not believe our Creator Father Loves us. What have we got to lose and so much more to gain (heaven) by believing there is a God who Loves us.
His Book describes Love as : Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. (I Cor. 13:4-5)
We can actually achieve this kind of Love if we let our Creator Father have His way in our lives. With this kind of Love all wars would end, murderers, rapists, thieves and liars would be no more.
A world of peace is in the horizon for all who trust Jesus as their Savior and friend. He's coming back again as King of Kings to rule the world for a thousand years and we will all be a part of that kingdom as God's children. What have we got to lose? He only makes us better, gives us eternal life and His kind of Love for each other. Who could ask for anything more?
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
