Consider this that we are likely to judge things that we can see, that we can touch, that we feel and smell as being the most real, those objects of our senses, and what we call our perceptions and yet these things are not as real as the invisible things of God, heaven, love, faith.
Love is something that is invisible in that you can not touch it and you can not smell it. What does love smell like? What does love taste like? What does it look like? But none of us would deny the reality of love.
So let those philosophers and scientists who say that if something is not subject to your sense impressions then it is not real. Let them consider this, that LOVE is no more subject to being put into a test tube than many physical objects are but yet few would deny the reality of love.
Consider the existence of hell.
Hell is no mere dream or no mere wild imagination from philosphers and poets. It is not just a sad or melancholy conception from some creative genius designed to keep people in fear or under their control. Hell is a place of TORMENT and JUDGMENT.
Hell shall be full of people who have rejected Christ and they may not have even rejected him with their lips but they simply rejected him in their lifestyle, in their careless attitude toward true religion and Christianity.
You see many in that day shall say, "Lord, Lord did we not do many wonderful works in YOUR NAME" and Christ will say unto them, "I never knew you. Depart from me ye workers of iniquity."
"Not everyone who says Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of God but he who does the will of my Father in heaven.
