Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7 KJV)
Men may deceive themselves, and others, with such excuses and false appearances, yet they cannot deceive God, who knows their hearts as well as their worldly essence, and that the omission of their duty arises not from want of ability, but from a covetous temper; and who looks upon withholding from his ministers that which is due unto them as mocking of him, and which he will not suffer with impunity:
If you use the Word of God in truth, as a Mirror to show a reflection of yourself; what would you see?
Many people have a distorted view of God’s Word and thereby have a distorted view when they see themselves in the Mirror of God.
They make promises, break them and tell lies all in the name of self and all because they are still tugging at the nipple of the milk bottle.
The pride, the arrogance, the fools, the liars, the cheaters…. Those who Rob God in Tithe, Word and Deed - - and who do so willfully are on very dangerous ground.
The blessings they receive are because others are praying for it, others are by God creating it, others are asking God for mercy on their souls and lives and they are so foolish to think that it is because of their right actions.
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. (Malachi 3:8 KJV)
People have robbed God in not giving the tithes, they gave tithes, yet it was "with an evil eye", grudgingly, and not cheerfully, and with an evil intention; not to show their gratitude to God, and their acknowledgment of him as their Lord, from whom they had their all, but in order to merit at his hands. Keeping back from his ministers, what was due to them; and which, being no other than a spoiling or robbing of them.
Enjoy life, for God is watching! You shall now reap what you have sewn!
Mirror, mirror on the wall: Who is the greatest fool of all?
Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
(Psalms 44:21 KJV)
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV)
