Well, I just want to give praise and honor to God today. My son called me last week at 10p.m. He said "Mom, I want to come home." I wasn't expecting him to come home until the end of the month when we moved to another house. I immediately said yes. Then I said, what happened. He said nothing, I just want to come home. He agreed to take out the earring. His attitude has been good so far. He began to tell me why he came home. He said he had began to sell drugs again and it scared him how he was feeling. He had posted on face book he was headed down a dark road and he didn't like it. I just thank God for keeping him. He said everyone he sold to or bought from was getting caught. Look at Jesus. He knows how to get your attention. Just to think I wanted to tell him to come home the first week so my mother wouldn't have to deal with him. But God kept reminding me of the prodigal sons father. The father never went out looking for the son. He waited for him to return.
When he came home, I said, well son, I don't have a fatted calf, but I can cut up a chicken and fry it for ya. We laughed. It feels so good to have him back home, and he says the same. I kept hearing another verse that said, A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again. Prov 19:19, God says if you deliver someone that's rebelling, you will have to keep doing it. But when we allow God to do it, He does it so that He gets the glory in the end.
Thank you Jesus for everything.
