Do You Want to Take a Spiritual Journey?

Look deep within yourself.
Do you see who you are?
Is it a pleasant surprise?
Or is it someone you do not know?
This is a place of conscience,
God's Holy Spirit's dwelling place.

This deep intensity
is the region you must search,
to start your spiritual journey with God.
If it's hard for you to locate,
maybe it is
because you haven't
asked Jesus to come with you
on your life's journey, yet.

You need to have a personal relationship
with Him first,
so that you may ask for directions.
Your journey is spiritual with Him.
Without Him, it's just a
selfish trip.

He will show you a safe,
loving path to follow
so that you may enjoy
your life's journey of sunrises.
Enjoy your trip that so few travel.

There will be a lot of
learning stepping stones
along the way.
It wouldn't be a spiritual journey
without His wisdom.

His destination is like an awesome
rainbow for those who
follow His directions.
His guardrails of guidance
and reading of His map
is so important for your
life's journey, so that you
don't get into any major accidents.

It is His promise to always be there,
throughout our spiritual journey;
in case of any detours that
we thought sounded better and faster.
As we find out,
His road was always the best route.

As the journey comes to an end;
the few who chose to follow,
and stayed on tract with God,
will see the most brilliant and
magnificent sunset at
the end of the rainbow
where our heavenly Father
will greet us with open arms
and take us home.

Proverb 16:9 (NKJV)--A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

I think your title says it all: do we WANT to take that journey? And sadly, we ASSUME Jesus is with us without even asking! Very well done and said! Thank you for the encouragement in your words!
