Towards the end of his journey on earth as a man, Christ reiterated that those who would endure to the end would be rewarded. But it tends to be impossible when one gets to think of the temptation of Job, how he lost everything, in the devil's bid to lure him to the sin of disobedience. However, there are two versions to the Job kind of temptation.
I for one can testify to the fact that when i was growing up, i lived a tough life; even though when I was in it, i never thought it to be that. It is only now that I have a little bit more that I notice the magnitude of the change.
Over the past few years, my temptations have been bent on my being exposed to new found riches. We all know how easy it will be for the rich to fall into sin, Furthermore when they are new riches to an old dog.
Thus, with the Job kind of temptation, it's either you get it or you lose it depending on your past life. Job lost it all because he had it all; if you don't have anything, the temptation may come with all that Job lost, in an attempt to trip you down.
Brothers and Sisters, the Lord we serve is mighty in power and grace, let us therefore call upon his name day and night to the call of His voice that is with us in all, Amen.
