Often times it is evident that wherever we are is not home. The continous feeling of expectation and failure to feel total comfort is a sign for this. Even when the best things come by, they appear unappealing because of that undying urge to see the promised land.
That is why Abraham, when He was on earth, never really settled down in one place; His eye was set on the city that had firm foundations, the city of God. I love that city.
Brothers and sisters, there is more, in heaven, than we see here or even expect. This is the place where our deep hunger for righteousness shall be furthered and fulfilled at the same time. Worship will be the talk of the day, we will be fed on righteousness.
I admire the rehearsals we partake in today; how we find the feeling of completeness in even the little praise we do. God, accept us today and we will surely be good forever more. Whenever i really think about you, I cry. Not for sorrow but for the thought of your kindness and grace. Bear with me and my kins thy children.
