GOD AND FOOTBALL

Is God in the business of winning football games ? I should think not. His main concern is in human souls. Even though Tim Tebow is not ashamed of who he has put his faith in (Jesus) he does not win every time he bends his knee. He is to be admired however, in the fact that he still bends his knee even when his team losses--thats faith.
Loyalty, consistancy and trust are all traits of the believer. It isn't that Tebow's God has failed him--it's all in passing the test. Do we still trust in God even though things don't go our way? We must remember God's dwelling place is in eternity and in our hearts if were believers. He see's the picture of our life from past, present and future. He already knows what our tomorrows will bring. Psalms 125:1--138:13-16.
Tim Tebow shines a Christ light into a dark world whose people are rapidly turning their backs on their Creator. They listen to the loud voices in the secular world that constantly tell them we came from a cell (evolution), a big bang (Science), many lives before and after us (reincarnation), there is no Devil or sin, we can become our own God (New Age, Eastern Mysticism) or Jesus isn't necessary to save us from our sins (Agnostics, Atheists, )and the list goes on.
Tim Tebow didn't listen to these voices--he took God at His Word (Bible) "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 . What an incredible gift from God to live eternally in a body that will never die. Tebow put his trust and faith in the One who reconciles us to our Creator Father and God. We need more Tebow's in todays world that are not ashamed of the good news gospel of Salvation. We have an immortal spirit that lives on and only two choices to pick from, heaven or hell. Do we listen to the loud voices in the secular world or do we take God at His Word and put our trust in the One who made all there is, Colossians 1:16-17 That choice is yours to make.
