This is the most exciting prophecy insight that I have had. There is going to be a 1040-day (2.85-year) countdown to the resurrection and rapture, beginning about 2020, when the third temple in Jerusalem is completed and regular morning and evening sacrifices are resumed. From where do I get this?
Well, I have written another article on this site with strong arguments that the Second Coming of Christ will be in 2030. Of course, nobody knows the literal day and hour, but the Scriptures and history make it possible for a very good guess at the year. Seven years before that, in 2023, begins the Tribulation period, which will be a very supernatural time, beginning with the resurrection and rapture and the appearance of Moses and Elijah in Jerusalem, and then the Antichrist and the False Prophet, opposing them.
Daniel 9:27 says that in the middle of this 7-year Tribulation, the Antichrist "will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering," which will have resumed in a re-built third temple in Jerusalem. This is very likely at the same time that he kills Moses and Elijah, after their 1260-day (3.45-year) ministry (Revelation 11:3).
Well, do we know how long these sacrifices will continue before they are stopped by the Antichrist? Yes, we do. Daniel 8:14 indicates that they will last for 2300 days (6.3 years). This means that 1040 days (2300 days - 1260 days) before the resurrection and rapture and the appearance of Moses and Elijah in Jerusalem in 2023, the temple will be completed and the sacrifices resume. (This assumes that the Antichrist stops the sacrifices and kills Moses and Elijah on the same day.)
Therefore, there is going to be a 1040-day (2.85-year) countdown to the resurrection and rapture from the time the third temple is completed and sacrifices resume, about 2020!
Can you imagine the excitement that there is going to be?
There was a 120-year countdown to the wrath of God in Noah's time and no-one repented. In this roughly 3-year countdown, I belive that there will be a worldwide revival.
Hang on to your seats!
