Young minds can be led the right way
Or young minds can be led astray.
Young minds can embrace the Father's love
And be set on the imperishable treasures from above,
Or they can be driven away to admire
The world and go after fleshly desires.
Parents, teachers, guardians, role models, what do we do?
Do we do all we can to lead them in the way that's true,
Or do we just decide to leave them alone
To figure things out on their own
And hope these young minds will get it right
And someday come around and see the light?
We must instruct these young minds, these precious youth
To learn, know, grow in, and love the Truth.
This world is going to feed them plenty of lies.
The devil's trying to blind their spiritual eyes,
So it's up to us to take a stand and to pray
And lead them to Jesus, the only Way!
