Are our writers writing truth or fiction?

Hello to all of you writers and a very happy, healthy new year!

Having read many articles in the 'What's New' category, I often wonder who is writing through experience and who is writing fiction?

Listen, if I think you are genuine, I can write within a heartbeat!
I am of a compassionate nature, however, I am also capable of being taken for a 'ride', which is an English expression for being naive.

If you can all print either 'fiction' or 'factual' in your 'what's new' category, you would be helping me significantly.
Many thanks

Veronica

Veronica, I couldn't agree more. This is why we ask people to include a footnote on Challenge entries if there is a possibility that fiction could be confused with a real story, or vice versa. It can make a huge difference to the reader and to the publishing potential of that article.

I think that would be a great help too. I have been puzzled over some recent articles. Poetry is a slightly different category though; from my experience, it's written from the heart, or just flows from the pen.
