It is so easy to believe, after some series of perceived earthly success, in weightless things of this world, empty things. I like the way Christ put it accross that take heed, now, how you hear.
How, there, is the most important thing to note, it is how we hear whatever is spoken towards us, that determines what sticks in us or not.
I am writing this after having been fed with a fair amount of worthless, useless, empty and puffed up words that take me higher, soon to realise that i am leaving the mandate of God.
Last night as I was walking, i thought to myself that I haven come here neither to do business nor make money nor learn nor do anything other than to do the Lord's mandate. Yes in my past life, it may have been a point of note, knowing what to do or which career to take, but being born again abolishes all this. It is an evil thought to even conceive the idea of working while worshipping.
Jesus Christ put it accross this way, you cannot serve both God and mammon. With this He was advising us not to think that we are born into the new family to preserve ourselves while listening to God, but to offer up our obedience and trust only to Him who hath redeemed us. The lust of the world teaches us otherwise.
When we choose to trust in God, let us trust Him alone, In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
