King Saul's camp, in the time of boy David was a mighty camp in that era. Besides the men of valour that could overturn a whole army of Phillistine fighters, the Israelites had the God factor. However, because of dishonour on the part of the King and all its inhabitants, Israel lost the touch of God in battle. So Goliath came along, and scornfully boasted against a nation with which God's name was reckoned.
Because of this name, God, using a young man of Israel, did not only show His power to the Phillistines, but to Israel itself.
The young boy stepped up into the battle field, and for sure even His appearnce despised Him. He probably was the most unfit man for the job, basing on their own criteria, but basing on His own scale, David was better than Israel's commander.
I tell you brothers and sisters, God has not only made us conquerors, because all of them have and can become conquerors, but we are more than conquerors, Halelujah, a perculiar generation handpicked by the mercies of Him who has raised us from the death imposed on us by our sins.
