Moving Forward

Come let us return to the Lord,
Not letting my plea be ignored;
But as a need for urgency,
For your spirituality.

Although God has ripped us apart,
His compassion will heal your heart;
The wounds that leave the blemishes,
Are healed as sin diminishes.

God will revive us in two days,
Then on the third day He will raise;
Each of us up out of the grave,
And so our life He will save.

So let us learn about the Lord,
Show Him He is loved and adored;
It is the Lord we need to know,
Then spread the Word where we will go.

He will come like the morning sun,
Like the New Year that has begun;
As water flows from the fountain,
And snow that covers the mountain.

Love is like fog in the morning,
It disappears like morning dew;
His judgments shine on you like light,
That fades like a thief in the night.

That is why He had cut us down,
We are spikes from a thorny crown;
He wants faithfulness and loyalty,
To be loved and see honesty.
