First, Happy New Year to all and may you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.
This is what the Lord placed on my heart many weeks, and last night in church. It came as prophecy, but the atmosphere wasn't prophetic.
This is something the Lord wants His entire body to hear.
God said this. I will release the Abraham blessing upon my true hearts; for health, prosperity, for good and total victory.
But, how is it my people require a blessing from me, but do not have faith enough even to tithe?
Whoa Nelly! What?
Yes, we expect miracles, and don’t understand why they are withheld, because we pray in FAITH, and speak FAITH, and walk in FAITH, yet, when the bills are weighed in the balance with the tithe, or, when the amount is weighed in balance with current blessing, we WITHHOLD OUR SEED.
Many justify themselves saying, “Well, we are no longer under the law.”
Here's a revelation; ABRAHAM WAS NOT UNDER THE LAW, because the law had not yet been given, he was uncircumcised, YET HE TITHED ALL.
The early church gave everything, not just a tenth. So the excuse that tithing isn't mentioned in the New Testament, just doesn't fly.
As far as I understand, when there are only a few dollars, and they must meet certain needs; if I don’t sow that money back into God’s promise, then I will NOT receive God’s promise. (It's the reason many struggle with faith.)
What is that promise? Here you see the two edged sword at work regarding simple obedience.
Be honest with yourself and see if you are in this group, for either good, or not so good. Then conclude if you are receiving His promised reward, for good, or not so good:
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that OPPRESS the hireling in his wages, the WIDOW, and the FATHERLESS, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and FEAR NOT ME, saith the LORD of hosts.
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. RETURN UNTO ME, AND I WILL RETURN UNTO YOU, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Ye are CURSED with a CURSE: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, AND PROVE ME NOW HEREWITH, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS, IF I WILL NOT OPEN YOU THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN, AND POUR YOU OUT A BLESSING, THAT THERE SHALL NOT BE ROOM ENOUGH TO RECEIVE IT.
And I WILL REBUKE THE DEVOURER FOR YOUR SAKES, AND HE SHALL NOT DESTROY THE FRUITS OF YOUR GROUND; NEITHER SHALL YOUR VINE CAST HER FRUIT BEFORE THE TIME in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
And all NATIONS SHALL CALL YOU BLESSED: FOR YE SHALL BE A DELIGHTSOME LAND, saith the LORD of hosts.
Awe, can you see? God desires to literally POUR blessings on us and make us “delightsome,” not only Israel, we are grafted in to the true olive tree, we are spiritual Israel, get that into your spirit. That means we are also sons and daughters of ALL the promises.
Personally, in tithing, God HAS proved himself to me. He MUST honor His own word! So don't worry, if things look a little tight, but you are tithing, open this Scripture, remind God and yourself, close the book and have peace. He will honor His word.
Oh, love the Lord with all you have this year, but most of all, learn of His great love for YOU, and teach it to your children, family, coworkers, and friends. He will bless your seed forever.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
