GOD'S GRACE: “It is by his grace we are not consumed”

Right from the fall of man, Grace has been an essential element for his survival. It is an unmerited favor given to him for something which he does not deserve. From dawn to dusk, his life achievement, travails and victories are all embodiments of God's grace. The creator's greatest gift to mankind 'Jesus Christ' who brought salvation is an example of the father's grace and love towards humanity. Though, we did not deserve it, yet he sent him to the earth to redeem mankind from the bondage of sin and slavery of the power of darkness. What an unmerited favor!.

Like a cup being refilled always for our thirst. A new portion of grace is given to us daily. As we have 24hours in a day,the creator made available to us 86,400 seconds in a day and for each of these seconds,God's grace is sufficient for us in every challenge and opportunities that will come our way as we go into the new year.

In setting your goals for the new year, avoid procrastination and get rid of discouragement. Have a plan for each goal you set and a duration you want your gaols achieved. Get rid of time wasters, things that consumes your time unnecessarily. Have a schedule for each day and plan your daily activities well. As you do all these, have it at the back of your mind that with your goals comes challenges but god's grace is absolutely sufficient for you in each trial that you will face and do not hesitate to ask for his help, For the race is not to the swift neither is the battles of life to the strong but everything happens in time to those that put their trust in the lord .(Eccl 9:11).

Everything that man has ever achieved in this world is by his grace, the great discoveries that has been made through the ages has been by his help, for he gave life , he made them to live to be able to carry through their dreams, passions, visions and go on to work and discover things that are useful to us today..Though, sometimes we make a wrong or negative use of them, yet his grace abounds for us, otherwise nothing would have been discovered or invented no matter the amount of effort made or work done.

In every sphere of our life's,be it in our family-life, work , social and spiritual, grace is what makes it work perfectly. When we labor diligently to be obedient and be reconciled to God, strive to teach our children and our fellow men his precepts,It is by his grace we are saved after all we can do. Our accomplishments, victories in any field is made available to us through his grace, even the worst challenges or difficulties we never had the hope of overcoming is surmounted by grace.

Therefore, always look unto the supreme being who is the author and finisher of our faith in any situation, at any period you may find yourself,(Heb 12:2). He is always faithful, just and his righteousness is unto the children's children to those who remember and keep his commandments
