In a track event when the gun is shirt or whistle blown, It signifies the beginning of the race .There also exist a time lapse for the game, so it is for the human life. As the year rolls in and out , it signifies the beginning of a new page and an end respectively with different challenges and triumphs that would be experienced based on desires possessed and goals made. The challenges may vary according to each individuals ambition. The year is rolling out again like the pages of a book flipping to an end , a new page is opened as the new year approaches, what will be written on the pages will depend a great deal on us based on our plans for the new year.
As each day comes and goes, turning to a week, as weeks turn to months, they come and go with challenges and victories. It maybe in the area of finance, job, business, social life, spiritual and emotional aspect of our life's. The fact remains that all challenges in whichever area it may be needs a positive attitude to be used in tackling it.
For instance, a person with a less severe health issues will need to exhibit a positive mind set for a quick recovery when he sees the doctor and given the necessary medication. This also applies to a more severe case and other issues one may be facing.
As we set goals, It should be in line with what God has said,proper planning and strategies for the execution of our plans and achievement of our goals should be put in place. At times, our plans may not really come out as we expected, we should know that its part of the trend of life issues. Endeavoring to stay focused and committed will be best for us at such occasions.
We should know that to anything that may seem as a delay or setback in our life is for a purpose. The creator is aware of it and it may be that there is something he wants us to learn from it and at such periods when we've done all our best and nothing seems to come out, taking it to him in prayers and giving all our burdens and worries to him is not optional.
Nothing is too small or too big to talk to God about .In as much as the new year will offer us opportunities, it will also come with challenges, that is why proper preparation is needed. To every difficult situation, There is a remedy, an anchor for support.'No temptation has ever befallen man except that which he has the power to overcome and is common to him' (1 Corinth 10:13). Therefore, as the year comes, launch out with an optimistic spirit, with prayers, faith and proper goals and never hesitate in making good use of the opportunities that will come your way.
