"What did you get for Christmas?” I remember Christmas’ as a child; our neighborhood children always shared reports of what we had received. In my family, we kept our opened gifts displayed beneath the tree. It was a “before & after” comparison; prior to Christmas mysterious wrapped boxes were there to tempt me and following our celebration I could show off what the boxes held. I do not recall friends asking what I gave for Christmas.
The most memorable exchanging of gifts came at the age of eighteen, two months before Christmas. I gave Jesus my heart and He gave me eternal life. “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 HCS).” Christmas time would never be the same. It was not all about presents I wrapped or opened; I discovered it offered me the opportunity to focus on the greatest of all gifts, God’s Son Jesus. The Father sent Him to our world to become a sacrifice for my sins.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
