Do you recognize the names of these places? Do these names make you shudder in disgust? Do they make you weep?
During what we call the Holocaust, over 6 MILLION Jews died in these camps and others controlled by Nazi Germany. Today, most of the world is repulsed by the very thought of these things. Over a period of roughly 14 years, these camps were in use by the Nazi regime.
The world stood by and watched, staying out of the “internal” politics of other nations or simply ignoring TRUTH.
In Washington, D.C. and here in St Louis there are great museums dedicated to the Holocaust. Other sites around the world have similar remembrances.
When Israelis are sworn into their armed services, included is the oath “Never again.”
6 MILLION.
Each year in the United States over 1.2 MILLION abortions are performed. The vast majority of these are simply voluntary abortions, performed for the convenience of the mother or parents.
World wide roughly 46 MILLION abortions are performed each year.
46 MILLION!
All reputable scientists and physicians acknowledge that whatever it may be called, each abortion takes a living being, a human life.
46 MILLION!
Can we continue, as Christians, so simply stand by?
On my refrigerator is a stickie note. It says simply November 6, 2012.
It is there so I won’t forget, so the memories won’t fade.
November 6, 2012 is election day.
