Jesus Christ directly related Himself to all those who were obedient to God's commands.
"But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” Luke 8:21 (NKJV)
This leaves no room for pride in traditional faith, rather it is faith if only personally.
God wants to belong to everyone personally even though His blessings do spread to everyone and everything that belongs to whom He blesses, however what He needs from each one of us is a personal relationship, is a personal faith, not just the God of my fathers and my family, rather more importantly , "MY GOD".
Do you belong to Him? if you are under the impression that you are through the faith of your parents or any loved one then it may be wrong, you need to know Him personally, you need to do His will, you need to taste Him to know Him.
There is no other way to know God and His goodness except through a personal interaction with Him.
God is always willing and waiting to relate to us, are you ready to know Him and the greatness of His love, for then truly we will belong to Him and be His and His alone forever.
