Zechariah (Part One)

Zechariah 1:1 “In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,”
Zechariah (Strong’s 2148) Jah has remembered; Zecarjah, the name of twentynine Israelites; (from Strong’s 2142) to mark (so as to be recognized), i.e. to remember, by implication to mention; also to be male, be mindful, record, think on, and (from Strong’s 3050)Jah, the sacred name; Jah, the Lord, most vehement, compare names In “-iah,”, “-jah.”;
Berechiah (Strong’s 1296) knee (i.e. blessing) of Jah; (from Strong’s 1290) a knee, (from Strong’s 1288) to kneel; by implication to bless God (as an act of adoration), and (vice-versa) man (as a benefit); and (from Strong’s 3050) Jah, the sacred name; Jah, the Lord, most vehement, compare names In “-iah,”, “-jah.”;
Iddo (Strong’s 5714) timely; Iddo (or Iddi); (from Strong’s 5710) to advance, i.e. pass on or continue; causative to remove; specifically to bedeck (i.e. bring an ornament upon); adorn, deck (self), pass by, take away.”

We are starting another book here Zechariah, meaning Jah, the sacred name of God, has remembered and the base of remembered means to mark (as to be recognized. This is just as God as in Revelation 9:5 those that have the seal of God in their foreheads, or their minds, that Satan cannot touch because they know beforehand God’s Word and God has opened their eyes. Zechariah is the son of Berechiah, meaning blessed. God has remembered our generation of the fig tree as in Matthew 24:32:

Matthew 24:1 “And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.”
Matthew 24:2 “And Jesus said unto them, “See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
Matthew 24:3 “And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the world?”
Matthew 24:32 “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:”
Matthew 24:33 “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”
Matthew 24:34 “”Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”
Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.”
world (Strong’s 165) properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world; specifically (Jewish) A Messianic period (present or future);

The subject here is the return of Christ and the end of this world age. Jesus then tells us that at the mount of Olives at the temple not one stone will be left standing as when Jesus feet hits the location as in Zechariah 14:4 the location’s geography will change and as in II Peter 3:10-11 a cleansing of all the rudiments or things not of God. Remember at this location is when Satan will sit where he ought not in God’s throne in a temple in Jerusalem as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. Jesus then warns us to learn, meaning to really have an understanding, of the last generation of the fig tree. This is as in Jeremiah Chapter 24 when the good and bad figs, the children of the women’s Seed, God’s People, and the children of the serpent’s seed, Cain and his sons as in Genesis 3:15. They then returned to the land of Judea, today Israel. That happened in 1948 when Israel became a nation. Jesus then warns heaven and earth will pass away, the ages as Jesus will return here to earth for His kingdom, and world here means an age or Messianic period. God’s Word, or Jesus said My words will not pass away. As long as we are standing on God’s Word and not on some religion’s or man’s word, we are on solid ground. God will not only shake the earth as HE did right after the first earth age creating this one as in Jeremiah Chapter 4:

Jeremiah 4:1 “If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto Me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of My sight, then shalt thou not remove.”
Jeremiah 4:2 “And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in Him, and in Him shall they glory.”
Jeremiah 4:3 “For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.”
Jeremiah 4:4 “Circumcise yourselves to the LORD and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest My fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.”
Jeremiah 4:5 “Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, ‘Blow ye the trumpet in the land:’ cry, gather together, and say, ‘Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.’”
Jeremiah 4:6 “Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.”
Jeremiah 4: 7 “The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.”
Jeremiah 4:8 “For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.”
Jeremiah 4:9 “And it shall come to pass at that day, ‘saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.”
Jeremiah 4:10 “Then said I, “Ah, Lord GOD! surely Thou hast greatly deceived this People and Jerusalem, saying, ‘Ye shall have peace;’ whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.”

The subject here is God’s plea to His People that if they put away their abominations, in other words get back into God’s Word and stay away from religion and men’s teachings, and do God’s Word, God will bless them. It’s that easy. If you want to listen to some idea, some religion and the traditions of man, then you will NOT be blessed. God then telling them to break up fallow ground, or the ripe ground of the people that want to hear His Word and not some person’s or some religious teaching, then God will bless them. Then God saying to us all to circumcise our hearts, or our minds, to the LORD because His fury, when God’s wrath hits as in the book of Revelation as Jesus was praying to Heavenly Father that this cup of wrath as in Matthew 26:39 that God will have Jesus pour out as here:

Revelation 19:15 “And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Revelation 19:16 “And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Out of Jesus’ mouth goes the sharp sword, the Word of God, and HE will rule with a rod of iron, meaning complete discipline. Then He will tread the winepress of God’s wrath – for what? For the reason that the entire world will be deceived by Satan as here in:

Isaiah 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
Isaiah 14:13 “For thou hast said in thine heart, ‘I Will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of GOD: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:”
Isaiah 14:14 “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the MOST HIGH.’”
Isaiah 14:15 “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”
Isaiah 14:16 “They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, ‘Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;”
Isaiah 14:17 “That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?’”
Lucifer (Strong’s 1966) the morning-star; (from Strong’s 1984 in the sense of brightness) to be clear, to shine, to make a show, to boast, to be (clamorously or protesting loudly) foolish; to rave; to celebrate, to stultify or cause to appear foolish; boast.
This is the son of perdition of II Thessalonians 2:3. God is here saying Lucifer, which means morning star, as Satan is always trying to copy Jesus and we see here the devil sat in God’s throne in the first earth age. Then God mocks Satan here because Lucifer had fallen from heaven, and he was cut down by God and weakened the nations, or those children the Gentiles not of the tribes of Israel. Then God repeats what happened for our understanding. Lucifer, said he would go into heaven and put his throne above the stars, meaning God’s children in the spiritual bodies as in Revelation 1:20
Revelation 1:20 “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.”
The stars then being the angels, or God’s People in the spiritual bodies during the first earth age. Lucifer then sat on God’s throne over the people, the congregation, in God’s Spot, the sides of the north in Jerusalem. Then Satan said he would be like the MOST HIGH GOD. Then God’s judgment for Lucifer, the only son by name condemned to death or to be burned from ashes from within and be no more as in Ezekiel 28:18, or the son of perdition, perdition meaning to be fully destroyed or to perish. Then God’s judgment is Satan to be brought down to hell to the sides of the pit, where Satan is right now being held in chains held by God’s command by Michael and his angels as in Revelation 12:7. Then the world after the second earth age after Jesus’ return will say, is this the man, Lucifer, that made the earth to tremble and did shake kingdoms and made the world a wilderness, meaning no truth taught only lies and deception. Here we see Jesus is the true Morning Star:

Revelation 22:16 “I Jesus have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright and morning Star.”

Jesus is the Root and Offspring of David as in Luke Chapter 3:23-38 that through David and then through Nathan, and not Solomon as in Matthew 1:1-1:17 as this is Joseph’s, not Mary’s genealogy. Jesus is the bright and morning Star and Satan who always wants to steal that and deceive the people as we will learn in Zechariah Chapter 3. Now let’s continue here in Jeremiah Chapter 4. Now God is reminding us what happened in the first earth age:

Jeremiah 4:23 “I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had not light.”
Jeremiah 4:24 “O beheld the earth, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.”
Jeremiah 4:25 “I beheld, and lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.”
Jeremiah 4:26 “I beheld, and lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by His fierce anger.”
Jeremiah 4:27 “For thus hath the LORD said, “The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.”
void (Strong’s 922) (meaning to be empty) a vacuity, i.e. an indistinguishable ruin; emptiness, void.

Remember how the earth became without form and empty an empty void and the earth and heavens had no light. There was an earthquake, as the earth and hills moved lightly. Then there was no person or birds and no more cities were left because of God’s fierce anger. Why? This was when we just read Lucifer instead of protecting God’s throne as in Ezekiel Chapter 28, decided to sit in God’s throne and deceived one third of God’s People as in Revelation 12:4. Then in Jeremiah 4:27 the LORD says the land will be desolate, or the age will end, as God did not make a full end, instead of destroying that one third along with Satan that listened to him. Then not back to the generation of the fig tree, which naturally includes that one third that did were deceived by Satan as God is fair in all things. Now in December 2011, we are in the 63rd year of this generation. Also, God’s Word talks of this here in:

Ezekiel 9:1 “He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, “Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.”
Ezekiel 9:2 “And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side” and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.”
Ezekiel 9:3 “And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon He was, to the threshold of the house. And He was called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;”
Ezekiel 9:4 “And the LORD said unto him, “Go through the midst of the city through the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.”
Ezekiel 9:5 “And to the others He said in mine hearing, “Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:”
Ezekiel 9:6 “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.”
Brazen (Strong’s 5178) copper, something made of that metal, i.e., a fetter; figuratively base (as compared with gold or silver); brasen, brass, chain, copper, fetter (of brass), steel.
destroying (Strong’s 4892)destruction; (for Strong’s 4889) destruction, literally (specifically a snare) or figuratively
(corruption), trap.
weapon (Strong’s 3627) something prepared, i.e. any apparatus (as an implement, utensil, dress, vessel or weapon, instrument;
mark (Strong’s 8420) a mark; by implication a signature, desire, mark; in Hebrew letter “tawv” looks like English letter “T”(from Strong’s 8427) to mark out, .e. scratch or imprint.

Here in the book of Ezekiel, an example of God’s throne returning to earth for our warning. The location Jerusalem as this will be the location when the son of perdition, meaning one sentenced to death, Satan the only entity by name sentenced by God to burned from ashes from within as in Ezekiel 28:18, where he will sit in God’s throne as in II Thessalonians 2:3-4. So this highly polished bronze, and not spectrum mans a continuum of color when a white light is dispersed vehicle that was circular, created a whirlwind and had a fire infolding itself. Now back to Ezekiel Chapter 9, these seven men, or angels, as in Genesis 1:26 man is created in the image of God and the angels, the exact replica of your spiritual body as in Ezekiel 44:25 as God’s elect will have the ability to go to those that did not make it or ended up worshipping Satan instead staying true to God and His Word, to their family members. This shows that we will be able to identify each other as we do in the flesh. God’s Word is always straight forward and exact. Now back to Ezekiel chapter 9. The man or angel with the writers inkhorn, as the priests or prophet, God is commanding these seven, representative of God’s elect, to put this destroying weapon spiritually on all people that do not have the seal of God as in the Book of Revelation in their foreheads, or their minds, because they have not read God’s Word. Take note the destroying weapon in Ezekiel 9:1 means to destroy or to trap. God then tells these men or angels to slay or put this on every person except those that have a mark which means a signature or a desire and take note in the Hebrew the word mark “tawv” looks similar to our English letter “T”. Just think that looks just like the a cross. Then God says do not leave any one out, both young and old, men and women and start to do this at the sanctuary, or begin in the places of worship where the ancient of men, or those that know the law are. God is fair in all things and especially those that are supposed to the religious leaders. God’s judgment at the return of Christ will happen at the altars. Now these six men plus the one angel with the writer’s inkhorn, as a prophet or scribe and he must have many righteous acts wearing the white linen as these are the righteousness of the saints, or those that stand up for God as here:

Revelation 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.”
Revelation 19:8 “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”

These ones are made righteous by God’s love and mercy for His people:

Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Romans 5:2 “By Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
Romans 5:17 “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ.)

We are justified, or made right according to His Word, by our faith and have 24/7 access to dear God through prayer and talking with Him through our Lord Jesus Christ. Dear God giving us tons of grace and mercy with His gift, He paid an big price for us all by dying on the cross for our sins, to make us right by His action by giving His life for us that believe on Him and His Word, for HE is the Word of God as in Revelation 19:12, His Son Jesus the Christ. Now these things happened for our warning:

I Corinthians 10:11 “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”

Here in Ezekiel Chapter 9 God is showing seven men, or angels as they went to God’s brasen altar, brasen meaning copper colored as in Ezekiel Chapter 1:4 Ezekiel sees God’s throne, a whirlwind, that is the color of amber as here:

Ezekiel 1:3 “The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.”
Ezekiel 1:4 “And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.”
Chebar (Strong’s 3529)length, Kebar, a river of Mesopotamia; (from the same as Strong’s 3528) extent of time, i.e. a great while; hence long ago, formerly, hitherto, already, (seeing that which), now.
amber (Strong’s 2830)probably bronze or polished spectrum, or a continuum when a beam of white light is dispersed, metal, amber.

God’s Word came to Ezekiel and he was near the river Chebar, meaning an extent of time, long ago, or already. The subject here in Ezekiel is God’s throne returning to earth as an example for us in these last days of the return of Christ. Ezekiel here is seeing Gods throne and then in Ezekiel Chapter one and two gives a good description for the type of vehicles in his time, a horse and cart, describes God’s throne. Now back to Zechariah Chapter 1:

Zechariah 1:2 “The LORD hath been sore displeased with your fathers.”
Zechariah 1:3 “Therefore say thou unto them, ‘Thus saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Zechariah 1:4 “Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, ‘Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings:’ but they did not hear, nor hearken unto Me, saith the LORD.”
Zechariah 1:5 “Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live for ever?”
Zechariah 1:6 “But My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, ‘Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath He dealt with us.’’”

The LORD is angry with our ancestors and those that are supposed to be teaching God’s Word. Then God the LORD of hosts, meaning armies, saying to us today don’t be like them but turn from your evil ways and things you do, and run to God’s Word, not traditions of men or religion! Then God is mocking us saying those people, systems, religions where are they today? Do those people or religions live for ever? In other words can you rely on man or on God? God of course and HE is the Word of God as in Revelation 19:12. Then God warning us again the laws and statutes and commandments of God’s Word did our ancestors hear them? God then will judge us by our own actions as HE did in the past and will continue to do as in Revelation 20:11-15 as we are judged by our works. So repent and sin no more with a sincere heart to Heavenly Father and listen to His Word. We all fall short, so keep it up. The first most important commandment Jesus Himself tells us when one asks Him here:

Matthew 22:35 “Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked Him a question, tempting Him, and saying,”
Matthew 22:36 “Master, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Matthew 22:37 “Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”
Matthew 22:38 “This is the first and great commandment.”

Which Jesus is quoting for us way back here in:

Deuteronomy 30:6 “And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.”

So of course, if this is the most important commandment, it means a whole lot to Almighty God when His children start worshipping other teachings, religions, organizations and anything not of God’s Word. HE does NOT like it! That’s why His wrath is so strong right at Jesus’s return all in the Book of Revelation in depth for us to see that God is Who HE is right after Satan deceives the majority of those living in the flesh at His return. Now continuing on here:

Zechariah 1:7 “Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,”
Zechariah 1:8 “I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.”
Zechariah 1:9 “Then said I, “O my lord, what are these?” And the angel that talked with me said unto me, “I will shew thee what these be.”
Zechariah 1:10 “And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, “These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.”
Zechariah 1:11 “And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, “We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.”
Zechariah 1:12 “Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, “O LORD of hosts, how long wilt Thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which Thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?”
Zechariah 1:13 “And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.”
Zechariah 1:14 “So the angel that communed with me said unto me, “Cry thou, saying, ‘Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.”
Zechariah 1:15 “And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.”
speckled (Strong’s 8320) bright red (as piercing to the sight), i.e. bay, speckled; (from Strong’s 8319) to be shrill, i.e. to whistle or hiss (as a call or in scorn), hiss.

We see here the vision and the subject pointing to the end of the age, our time today that we are living in. The myrtle trees, being the evergreen trees or God’s People, and the red horses, some speckled, meaning bright red or bay, and white. Then the angel explains the vision to Zechariah so God then telling us they walk to and fro the earth, so angelic beings, then reporting to God the goings on. Then God is angry with the heathen, or nations, that are ease, or at peace or think they are at peace. That is exactly how Satan, the son of perdition of II Thessalonians 2:3 will come in peaceably as in Daniel:

Daniel 11:21 “And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.”
Daniel 11:22 “And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.”

This vile person, Satan, will come in peaceably and will easily appear to be Jesus as he will look exactly like the Lamb of God, Jesus, but we know by his lies and deception what comes out of his mouth as here:

Revelation 13:11 “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

So the devil will look like any photo, painting, or image that we have in today’s culture that looks like Jesus, but by his actions coming to bring so called peace and with flatteries, like you don’t need to understand God’s Word, or parts of it like the Old Testament or the Book of Revelation as you will fly out of here, we will know his fruit, or Satan the one sitting in God’s spot claiming to be God as we just read Lucifer another name for Satan in Isaiah Chapter 14. Now the flood is not a water flood but the lies and deception coming out his mouth as here:

Revelation 9:15 “And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.”
Revelation 9:16 “And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.”
Revelation 9:17 “And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.”
Revelation 9:18 “By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.”
Revelation 9:19 “For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads; and with them they do hurt.”
Revelation 9:20 “And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:”
Revelation 9:21 “Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”

This is the sixth trumpet, trumpet just as in war means action. This is Revelation 12:7-9 when God commands Michael and his angels to kick out Satan and his angels to earth, at that point in time, the hour, day, month, and year, that exact point in time to slay or kill one third of men. These ones are those that in the first age were deceived by Satan, so God is giving them the opportunity to decide will they listen to Satan or God this time in the flesh. Those fallen angels of Genesis Chapter 6 instead of being born by women in the flesh, took the daughters of Adam for their wives Satan’s second attempt to destroy God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. These fallen angels are condemned to death but are not named individually, only Satan as in Ezekiel Chapter 28 and we just read Isaiah Chapter 14. This is here in:

Jude :6 ”And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”

These fallen angels will be destroyed at Jesus’s return as here:

Revelation 11:13 “And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.”

These seven thousand fallen angels destroyed right at Jesus’s return as God will have used them for their purpose here in His correction. God is always fair in all things and we can be reassured HE has control even of the enemy just like he calls Satan’s army:

Joel 2:25 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you.”
So Satan’s army in Revelation Chapter 9, their power is in their mouths and the flood of lies that come out of them. By the three things, the fire, smoke and brimstone one third of God’s people are killed, remember spiritually not a physical death, as they have free will and if they want to believe a lie, God will send them strong delusion as here:
II Thessalonians 2:1 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him.”
II Thessalonians 2:2 “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”
II Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,”
II Thessalonians 2:4 “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
II Thessalonians 2:6 “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.”
II Thessalonians 2:7 “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work; only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”
II Thessalonians 2:8 “And then that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:”
II Thessalonians 2:9 “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”
II Thessalonians 2:10 “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
II Thessalonians 2:11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”
II Thessalonians 2:12 “That they all might be damned who believed, not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
falling away (Strong’s 645) to drag forth or unsheathe (a sword) or religious (with a degree of force implied) retire (personally or factiously) withdraw. (from Strong’s 575) off, away, separation, departure, cessation, completion, reversal , and (from Strong’s 4685) to draw (out)
perdition (Strong’s 684) ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal) damnable, destruction, die, perdition, perish. (from a presumed derivative Strong’s 622) to destroy fully, perish, mar or perish; (from Strong’s 575) off, away, separation, departure, cessation, completion, reversal , and (from the base of Strong’s 3639) ruin, i.e. death, punishment.

The subject the return of Christ and our gathering back to Him. Then we are warned don’t let any man’s word, letter like I Thessalonians like some may try and turn I Thessalonians 4:15-17 try to turn into some fly away or rapture doctrine as II Thessalonians God had Paul write immediately after so there would be no confusion or false teaching. This will not happen until there is a falling away, or going away from one’s religious believe happens. This is when Satan sits in God’s throne and the whole world will think that is Jesus, but is the son of perdition, means to perish or destroy fully, or cessation of existence. So this will not happen until this happens, Satan will sit in God’s Temple showing or appearing to be God. Now we know who withholds Satan who is Michael as in Revelation 12:7 is revealed in his time, as in Revelation 12:9 at God’s command. Then that wicked one, who is being held today in chains in heaven with the fallen angels, as Satan’s spirit can come to earth if you want to listen to him, but just as God’s Holy Spirit is available, so is Satan. It is up to us all to listen to God or Satan, that’s all. So if you want to not believe the truth, or God’s Word, then God, Himself, will send strong delusion, if you want to believe a lie like the traditions of men, or religion. You may ask why would God do this? HE does this to protect those People that are weak and want to listen to man and not God because if they knowingly worshipped Satan they would be responsible for their actions. What does this tell us but the majority of God’s People living today will listen to Satan except for God’s election, those that withstood Satan in the first earth age because they stood up for God’s Word. So if you are in the minority you are doing fine. Now back to:

Zechariah 1:16 “Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: My house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.’”
Zechariah 1:17 “Cry yet, saying, ‘Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.’”

Then we see after Jesus returns at the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11:15 after Satan who appears at the sixth trumpet as in Revelation 9:14. Understand it’s like a child counting one two three, six before seven, get it! God’s Word is straight forward that even a child can understand. Now let’s finish it up here in:

Zechariah 1:18 “Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.”
Zechariah 1:19 “And I said unto the angel that talked with me, “What be these?” And he answered me, “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”
Zechariah 1:20 “And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.”
Zechariah 1:21 “Then said I, “What come these to do?” And he spake, saying, “These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.”

Horns meaning power or authority, the four horns, the angel of the Lord explained these are the four powers scattered. They are today the political, financial, religious and education powers which will be used and will be build the end time one world kingdom in which Satan can then easily come in and bring so called peace as we just read in Daniel 11:21-22. The four carpenters spread the action of the four horns, or the four powers, over the entire world including the children of Israel to include Judah and the Gentiles, or the nations. Take a look over the past few decades how we are getting even closer to a one world system with now the United Nations, we have the Euro’s in place, we see today’s educational system in the United States and how God is kept out of it, and politically in government the separation of church and state even though our financial system, our currency says in “God we trust” again God is kept out of government, when our nation was founded on God’s Word. Then finally religion, as in today’s major religions, especially Christianity in the United States it is so very rare to find a church where God’s Word is taught precept upon precept or line upon line separating the subject and object. That is how Satan will easily deceive as that is his mode of operation, or modus operandi (M.O. in law enforcement talk! ), as in the Garden of Eden Chapter 3 with Eve and Adam twisting God’s Word just slightly and with Jesus’s example in Matthew 4 and Luke 4 twisting God’s Word. That’s why we need to know God’s Word so we are not deceived. Hang in there, and ask dear God to keep you grounded in His Word. He loves you for trying and so do I!
