Baffled and disappointed by life's raging storms,
it feels like hell and many times, I feel no calm,
there must be something better than this,
something that may have been overlooked,even missed.
Many times I ask God "Why?",
Why all this pain and why no goodbyes,
to all the toils and snares, the lingering shadows of despair?
There must be a reason for what has come my way,
yet a joyful and peaceful life is being delayed.
What is the purpose? Is there a Master Plan? Will You
always be here with me Lord? Will You hold my hand?
Doubt,fear and anxieties are my frequent companions,
thoughts injected in my mind, clouds my most reasonable opinions.
My mind is entrapped with such hopelessness,
how then can I deal with this overwhelming stress,
Oh God, where are You when all these plague me?
When will You show forth Your Presence? Will You calm the sea?
Lord, I need Your Help and this desperately,
Oh God, my God, come quickly, come rescue me!!!!
