As a Christian, and when blinded by sin
On occasion, when your world crashes in
Examine yourself, the timing may be right
Confide in whom you trust, eliminate the strife
Walk the narrow road, at all costs, you’ll see
Wide road well traveled, not to eternity
Put into perspective, all things you hear
Take every thought captive
And let others know you’ll always be there
Speak from your heart, in assertive tone
So you can have peace of mind
When you’re all alone
Better to listen, sometimes a must
Be sure you are somebody they can trust
Dwell on the positive and all things good
Sin builds strongholds, dead as cut wood
When you look back, you’ll stand in awe
Grace covered you when others saw
You’re under a microscope, nothing new
Pass each test and a crown waits for you
