TBI ? – Whose to blame
Lots of suffering, lots of pain
Among their halls, great hopes of gain
Each day a new beginning
Much confusion in an attempt to rest
Gently we guide them to do their best
Lack of physical and cognitive ability
Range of motion, speech, hearing and thought
Occasionally shopping for needs they sought
Frustration daily, great need for care
Memory and weakness, may send them balling
To witness their life, sometimes appalling
Most difficult in their life
Tasks that are required and simple to most
When they get it, they have reason to boast
At last, the day is over
Looking natural, when asleep
Maybe tomorrow, a giant leap
