God hears your silent prayers. The ones that are just between you and Him. Maybe you've told someone else about your situation in confidence, maybe no one knows but you and Him. Nevertheless, you find yourself on your knees silently crying to the only One that can do anything about it. The space between your last words spoken and the the time of waiting for an answer, comes an awesome quietness, a stillness, that can only be understood by desperation. Then it happens. A scripture comes to mind, maybe a picture of something or someone in a story of the bible, maybe even, a still small voice. It's so tender, so loving. Peace overshadows your spirit. It permeates your very soul. As you wipe away the quiet tears that's been streaming down your face, all that can be muttered upon your lips is, "Thank you Jesus." You arise once again with confindence, knowing that God has heard your silent prayers once again.
