Oh what joy to celebrate?
A shower, without getting wet
If you know the child’s gender
In your head you will be all set
To be a Mom and Dad, a challenge
Lots of work, yet fun
The terrible two’s are OK
Compared to teens on the run
Some day maybe often
A vacation to be had
Love and miss them allot
Spoiled by Grandparents – BAD?
Teach them well while their growing
About the good things and the bad
And when their much older
Nobody will get mad
Patience is a virtue
Wisdom a must
And when they are adults
You’ve earned respect and trust
