He really has no disregard (to treat as unworthy of consideration or respect) for your life
The thief comes ONLY to STEAL, KILL & DESTROY-John 10:10 Niv
Last month my husband and one of our neighbors were heavily involved in an argument, which almost turned physical. Little did we know how physical the devil had intended for things to actually get. I say little did we know because our neighbor freely admitted that he had retrieved his gun and had actually planned on killing my husband. He not only willingly admitted to that but he also offered an apology to our great surprise.
This plot for calamity with a side order of life changing results suggested by the devil for my husband reminds me of none other than Job, the great. In Job 1 & 2 the devil exerts his best efforts (in the form of carrying off Jobís oxen, donkeys and camels; killing his sheep and children & lastly striking Jobís body with painful sores from head to toe) to inflict pain, disarray and confusion for one of Godís beloved. What nerve! Although these were very bold schemes brought against Job, the nature of them donít really surprise me because of the source, of whom was a murder and a liar from the beginning (John 8:44).
Let us remember that no weapon, conspiracy and or strategy shall EVER prosper against those who belong to Christ; for God ALWAYS prevails in a war against evil!
