Fire and rain,
both bring something new,
fire is burning,
desire and motivation,
rain is washing,
cleaning and renewing,
God leads me through.
Fire and rain,
both prepare the sod,
fire does consume,
weeds and thorns,
rain is blessing,
growth and refreshing,
increase the work of God.
Fire and rain,
my lesson is long,
fire keeps me humble,
focused and driven,
rain gives me peace,
quiet and rest,
God makes me strong.
Fire and rain,
both have its season,
each appointed time,
for a purpose,
I trust God’s wisdom,
He is in control,
God knows the reason.
Fire and rain,
both affect my heart,
transforming my spirit,
renewing my mind,
a new creation,
through His love and power,
inside does God start.
