The hand of the Lord performs miracles, blessed are they who receive the touch of it.
"Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” " Luke 7:14 (NKJV)
God's awesome power was manifested in the above instance upon the son of a widow whom when Jesus saw in agony, He had compassion and when all was ok to give life to the dead man, He did it to the happiness of the mother and to the amazement of the whole crowd.
God's character and behaviour never changes, He still is the same compassionate God full of love and all desirous to heal and restore, yet why do many of us not experience the miraculous touch? what do we need more to bring back our blessedness which the devil has buried as dead?
In the above instance the grief and anguish of the mother was genuine, her helplessness was not hidden from anyone, her faith in Jesus without which God can do nothing in our life was much strong.
Missing of one and many of the vital preconditions for experiencing a miracle in our life often keeps us away from enjoying the joy of restoration and healing.
First of all, we should humbly accept our pitiable condition before God, then we should see our Savior in Christ, then we should have faith in Jesus and then humbly wait for the Lord to bless us in His right time.
There is nothing impossible with God, He can work a miracle even after it is finished.
God promised thus to His people....
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you. " Joel 2:25 (NKJV)
God can give back what has already been destroyed, what His compassionate eyes want to see is our readiness to believe and let Him do His good will in our life.
Let God come in, let Him touch the coffins in our life, let Him pronounce His healing command and we will surely rejoice.
