For many years I was lost
I finally found my way.
All those years God covered me
He’s taught me how to pray.
I was once so lonely
I thought nobody cared.
He’s lifted me up high
To show me that He’s there.
The kindness that He’s shown me
When He gave His only Son.
Now I can bridge the gap.
With Jesus I’ve finally won.
Don’t you be so worried
He also cares for you.
When you think you’re all alone
He’s there to see you through.
Let Him hear your laughter
That smile upon you face.
It’ll bring such joy to Him
To watch you win the race.
Here is where we praise Him
For all He’s done for us.
The quiet of the daytime
Is where prayer is a must.
He has sent His angels
To teach us what to do.
When we fall they catch us.
And help us see things through
Once again I’m saying.
Give your heart to Him.
Then you’ll see your future
Is bright and never dim.
