“The longer I know the Lord the more I know I got no stones to throw.” A line in a contemporary Christian music song (sorry, I forgot the song author’s name).
The printed words of writers can be used as stones to hurl judgment at readers, intentionally and unintentionally. Writing about God’s truth can be accomplished without throwing stones.
My writer’s prayer is that my words are not judgmental rocks that blindside readers in the head.
