It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. -Lamentations 3:22-23
God showed his compassion by sending His Son to earth.
Was born in a stable. His was such a lowly birth
He knows and understands all our conflicts and mistakes
His compassion is much bigger than the great lakes
Look to the Lord and wait for him. He is the God of our Salvation
His mercies are great and his love endures forever to every nation.
His councils are faithful and true and sure
In Him we can always rest secure.
He is a compassionate God, and can do no wrong.
He loves you when you're weak and when you're stong,
He is our help in time of need. He is always the same
He is our Saviour. For this reason to earth He came
Each new day bring reason to praise God and offer thanks
He has done wondrous things. He is not a God of pranks
His compassonate love and faithfulness never fail.
We're not consumed, so His story I will ever tell
