Gossip,
though thought
to be well deserved…
and which displays
the righteous indignation
of those
who oppose
wrong behaviors,
is seldom
well deserved;
because it is based,
NOT on what is known,
but on what was heard.
Gossip is the purgative
result of the
Self-Righteous.
This poetic free verse is the result of our news media and their finger pointing and endless evaluations of what is no more than gossip.
I am sick of hearing how the gossip has harmed Herman Cain. He is judged as guilty and there is nothing more than gossip to talk about.
Who among the finger pointers is guilty of more than that of which they accuse?
I for one am sickened by the culture of political correctness and self-righteous smearing done by our politicians and the news media.
“Do It! Do it,”
that’s what they say,
“We’re in agreement,
You do it your way!”
But then have you
noticed how “straight”
they become when
they want to
disqualify you,
for “what”
you have done?
It's just like the devil
who says wrong is o.k.
until he wants to destroy
you for doing his way.
