Wanted to share some things I have learned recently that have really helped me physically to just “feel better.” I have changed some things about my life after seeking God for some answers. Nothing in this area is Kingdom shaking, but just important to me.
Being very careful about my sodium intake; using a product called “NoSalt” No chemical taste, and you can use as much as you like because there is NO sodium in it! I don’t eat any what I call “pre-fab” meals. (That is most of the quick fix, pre-packaged stuff; sauces, add-ins, and such.) Even the so-called “low sodium” stuff has too much for me. (Did you know that some of the raw chicken you buy is injected with salt?) Read that online somewhere.
Have quit eating out…as of 2 or 3 weeks ago. Not that I will NEVER do it…but not if I can avoid it. Doing more cooking and hunting down no sodium/low sodium recipes, but I don’t mind it. I look at it as a challenge, to see if I can beat the slow poisoning of my body. LOL (Also drinking something called “Muscle Milk Light.” Has 15 grams of protein, no gluten, no lactose and is only 100 calories. They have it at Sam’s.)
Outcome of all of this: Feeling great; losing weight; no stiffness or aches and pains of ANY KIND; high energy; no cravings; less trouble with stomach issues; skin, hair and nails in much better shape; mind and memory sharper than ever; and wake up in the morning feeling completely rested and ready to go! Doctor said my sugar levels are good (not diabetic, but they check them along with my blood work every three months because of Hypothyroid medications I have to take.) And my blood pressure was 102/68.
Weather is cool enough now to, hopefully, get back to riding my bike around the neighborhood. With my headset and MP3 full of Praise and Worship, I am good to go!
So…I will keep doing what I am doing, and add to it as the Lord shows me any other things I should be doing. Very grateful for His help. He truly is The Great Physician…no Medicare needed for Him…He takes Loving Care!
