Mother Nature caresses the fallen
Returned to the earth with love
For the spirit of the fallen
Return to their God above.
Where each one is laid to rest
A carpet under the sod
Angels will accompany the fallen
Into spirit where their shall meet their God?
Mother nature covers up the mess
The atrocities created by war
A beautiful landscape of beauty
That covers the ground once more.
Mother nature will cherish the body
For it has returned to the earth.
The spirit has journeyed on to rest
Where God will administer new birth.
The body is like Mother Nature
She produces sunshine, wind and rain
Only to return once more in spring
Like the body re-born again.
