Sometimes I allow my acid tongue to drip-drip-drip with vinegary words in an astringent voice tone. Sour phrases that corrode and cause havoc with my relationships.
The tongue fights for control and wrestles with the brain for dominance.
Lord Jesus, help me to manage my tongue today. Turn the bitter into sweet. Help my spirit to rule my brain and help my brain to rule my tongue.

We need to continuosly pray for a renewal of our mind. That way only living waters which bring life will flow from us.
