Salvation comes from God through Jesus Christ, this is grace; it is a gift from God. You cannot buy it nor can you earn it; it is a gift from God. All that you can do is believe it and accept it! I have seven Scripture verses to help you understand it.
John 6:44-45 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.
The word used here gives us the impression of an animal, strong willed and resistant being lassoed and drawn in, not strong enough to resist his new master.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
You see even your faith is a gift from God!
John 6:28-29 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” 29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
God only requires you to believe in the one He sent, Jesus Christ. Put your faith in him!
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
Jesus said: You did not choose Him; He chose you. Learn from the Father and accept it. God speaks through His word – take time to listen

I like your article. Too many people spend their whole life trying to figure out salvation when salvation is actually supose to just be our foundation to build upon.
