Turn off the TV and electronic toys.

Mothers read your favorite poetry
and speak it with melodies and fluctuations with tone.

Father's turn off your sports and weekend 'get a ways,'
and read to them, read to them, read to them
the stories of childhood that stayed in your soul
and pass this down as a legacy of gold.

Mother Goose for the young
And The Bible and Torah

The best memories of my mother

I read to my grandson everyday. He is one. He loves it. The more dramatic the better. My mother read stories to me well into my teenage years. I loved it. I still love to read very much today. Totally agree . Read, Read,Read
