HOW REVELATION WORKS
Revelation takes the stress out of life. It gives us an advantage over our contemporaries in every sphere of life. However it will do us no good if we don’t know how it works.
The first step in activating the power of revelation is faith. You cannot derive value from what you don’t value. When you locate revelation knowledge, accept it as your ultimate reality. When you discover that “By His stripes you were healed” from 1 Peter 2:24, see beyond the symptoms. See yourself healthy. If God said it, it is the truth. Every other opinion is a lie.
When you get an idea, don’t reject it with conventional thinking. If the Wright brothers had given in to the words of their father that “Man would never be able to fly in the air”, they wouldn’t have invented the airplane. You have the capacity to create whatever God impresses on your heart to produce. When God made man, He didn’t stop the work of creation. In fact He gave us the assignment of continuing the work of creation. That is why we have cars, cell phones, etc today.
Everything we see around us began as an idea. God implanted His thoughts into the hearts of men and women. They accepted the possibilities of those ideas. They never gave up on them until they became world renowned brands and organizations.
That idea to start an eatery could be the birth of the next McDonalds. That impression to set up a University could mean the creation of a world class institution like Harvard. Believe in that Word. Believe in that idea. You will succeed.
