I just want to thank the Lord for His Word. Everytime I feel like telling someone what I really think about a situation or how I feel about them, His word speaks to me. I don't know what I'd do or where would I be if I said half the things I've wanted to say to people. There's just something about His word that brings peace to my soul. If you really want to please God and follow Him, then your obedience to the word of God is a must. I don't want to live this life in vain by going to church, then to just live like I want to live. I'm not talking about going out and drinking, doing drugs, or all those outward things we see as big sins, but it's those little things that noone else sees. It's those quiet thoughts that no one hears. It's those rolling of the eyes that no noe sees. It's the mumbling under our breath thinking no one hears, but God does. It's our attitudes towards people, situations, trials. To say we love God and don't live His word, is such a waste of time.
I encourage you as well as myself to stay in your word. Keep doing good. Keep forgiving. Keep fasting. Keep going to bible study. Keep praying. Keep reading. Keep encouraging others to do what's right. We never know by just uplifting the Lord what it might do to help someone else. Many times, just talking to others about the goodness of God and being obedient to his Word, encouraged me to keep on keeping on.
