I like your imagery (and french words). Personally, I think it would be stronger without the mention of Jeff Black. Let the reader imagine their own music, because this poem does sing!

Thanks so much, Yvonne... and yes, well, you may be quite right about Jeff Beck's name, but you know I just saw him in concert when I wrote this, so he just HAD to be there! I'm finding the people on my blog who like this poem are 'Beck' fans :)
