Some people in our lives
are meant to be
no more
than distant memory.
For though we met
at a different time
your thoughts are
no longer mine.
You chose a path
that I will not
but still you will remain
within my heart.
I chose a prayer
every day
You chose to go
another way.
To whom you now pray
I do not know
my constant prayer is that
you don't get caught in the undertow.
For darkness lurks all about
in many places humans
are making
and God is being shut out.
Under the guise of truth and light
Godly people you will fight
For the whispers of your friends
I feel may be your end.
Please pray for all those who are seeking their 'truth' in all the wrong places under the deceptions of lightness and goodness and the messages of 'first do no harm'. Things like this may be fun to read about or wonder about or even watch a silly television show about, but if you confuse these things with the real truth, your soul is in danger.
Some people are turning from God to other 'religions' because they feel no condemnation there. They're being led to believe they can do no wrong. Well, I can sure do wrong and I do. More than I want to. But we are all guilty. That's why Jesus died.
