need for fame and praise
we receive the gift of eternal love
When we surrender the
urge to " drown our sorrows"
in alcohol and drugs we receive perseverance
When we surrender our need
to control others we receive
the gift of understanding
When we surrender the
need to forever be angry and bitter
because we were hurt, we receive the gift of forgiveness
When we surrender fear and
stress regarding being rejected
we receive the gift of self- acceptance
It is only with surrendering
that we receive what we
most desire- Connection with our eternal soul
