Jesus Christ the Redeemer
Was slain on that day,
They delighted in joy
At Jesus passion
From Christ final act
The new believers fell,then hidback
Afraid to confess, whom they knew
Losing their pride for Him,
At the moment withdrew,
Their final track
Jesus the Christ, didn't holdback
There on the cross Christ decreed
My shed blood, can set all free
On this My Father and I agree
The weight of sin, cast upon Me
your totally forgiven, no debt to repay
Just keep on the straight and narrowway
With pride My Father looks upon Me
I am His Beloved Son,
I sit by His side,
I AM the One,
In whom He takes pride.

I don't think we'll ever know what a high price He paid and how foolishly prideful we can be! Nice poem.
