King David had gone through all the walks of life, he had seen how it is like being a Shepherd, how one feels when one is neglected by his own parents, he had gone through the sorrows of being belittled by his own brothers, he knew how life is when running around like a vagabond to save his own life from King Saul who wanted to kill him, however in all this David's trust in God is what delivered him, when all the others reacted adversely,
God reacted in his favor and honored him all through his life.
"My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad. "
Psalms 34:2 (NKJV)
Yes!!! David so gladly and joyfully acclaims his trust in the Lord, when he says that his soul shall make its boast in God alone.
David never regretted for having put his trust in the Lord God and the Lord also never failed him.
Often we take pride in many things we have and we boast of the relations we have with influential people, however when all of these are the glory that will pass away some day, we will learn as many have already that what actually lasts and what is true always is our trust in God alone.
The only True Friend Who can positively hold our hand and lead us through our troubles unharmed, Who can lift us up to His desired and true glory for us is God alone, for no one(not even we ourselves) can be so true to us as God is to us.
David knew that there are countless people in the world who have undergone or do undergo the same hurtful circumstances in their life and thus he says that the testimony of his life will be a great encouragement to all of them who are humble, for he says...'The humble shall hear of it and be glad'.
Have you too gone through rejections and hurtful circumstance in your life? did you also feel neglected anytime in your life?
Make God your trust and boast in Him alone, let this be your pride, "that you know the Lord God Jesus Christ and He knows you and will be with you to deliver you and lead you blessedly every day and every moment."
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
