The Times have Now Changed

Children go where I send thee was a popular song when I was a little girl. Although I don’t remember a lot of the words, I remember that line, “Children go where I send thee, how shall I send thee.”

As believers in the body of Christ we are to go where God sends us to go and we are to represent the love of God in our hearts, minds, words and actions once we arrive at our destination. Many times when we are called to go somewhere new (whether it be a new City, job, or home) sometimes we may wonder why we’re being moved.

I once read a quote that says, “God allows movement according to the completion of His purpose.” Meaning when God’s purpose for you being in a certain place has been fulfilled (wherever you are right now) only then will you be moved. If there is still work for you to do (planting a seed, being a light, encouraging someone, or winning a soul to the Kingdom) then and only then will you find yourself moving after His work and purpose for you being there is completed.

In these times when we see people moving on and moving forward sometimes our hearts ache for their presence at the same time we can rejoice in the legacy they left behind. If it’s time for you to move forward the Holy Spirit will confirm it in your spirit either before you move, during or after the move but the confirmation will come. Remember be anxious for nothing but through fasting and prayer make your requests known to God.

Remember to be diligent and steadfast, watch and pray because the times have now changed. Many will say, “The times are changing”, but I give you strong confirmation that the times have now changed. You need only to look out of your window to confirm it. Prayer is needed more now than at any other time in our lives. Don’t believe the tricks and lies of the enemy that cause us to become too lazy to pray. Pray earnestly, pray often and pray without ceasing. There is a new element reeking havoc, a new demon to fight, and that demon is chaos. Remember there is order in God’s house, anything that is against order and structure in the way that God admonishes is against God. Recall that those things that are against God are in fact against the Lord Jesus Christ, anything that is against is anti, thus anti-christ-the times have changed.

The times have now changed. Now is the time for prayer and know that some things can only come out through fasting and prayer. Remember your armor the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the sword of God—which is the word of God, and have your feet shod about with the Gospel of the preparation of truth (Ephesians 6th chapter). May God have mercy, may God be glorified in Jesus Name, Amen.
