We have to thank the Lord God so much for Jesus, for coming down on this earth and teaching us how to live, for displaying God's love for us and helping us understand God's true nature.
Jesus did preach & teach so much, yet nothing did He ever preach or teach that which He Himself did not do in His life, He was what He said and He was what He wanted and wants others to be.
"Then they said to him, “Where is He?”
He said, “I do not know.” " John 9:12 (NKJV)
The instance above is when God had healed a man born blind and after the miracle was done, Jesus was no where around, He was not available for them who would applaud Him and flatter Him in vain.
God has taught us always to be humble and never to desire glory and praises for what we do.
The trend of the world may be to 'shout aloud all the good you do and exalt yourself ', however the way God's people are exalted in their life is through this....
"For exaltation comes neither from the east
Nor from the west nor from the south.
But God is the Judge:
He puts down one,
And exalts another." Psalm 75:6-7 (NKJV)
God wants this from us....
"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." James 4:10 (NKJV)
The exaltation which comes from God is what is true, lasting and blessed.
Thus let's humble ourselves before God as Christ taught us and set a perfect example for us through His life.
