Our God is a zealous God, He loves us, protects us, defends us and will fight for us.
When God led His people to the promised land, He took care of everything, from the basic provision and daily needs to defending them from their enemies and giving them victory in all their struggles.
"You drove out the nations with Your hand,
But them You planted;
You afflicted the peoples, and cast them out." Psalm 44:2 (NKJV)
Before His people reached their promised destination, God did a clean up process and cleared the land of all the evil and sin in the land so His people could inhabit it, flourish in it and be blessed.
One thing that we need to be sure of in our life is that what God has promised to us, He will surely do, we need not worry about where we are going for God will perfectly set everything right for us.
However this is what we need to take care in every firm foundation that God has set for us, we need to be faithful to Him and desire and attempt to please the Lord in everything we do.
Our new life is a result of God's immense grace and it is the most precious thing we could ever have, we need to preserve it, use it and make it shine for God's glory.
