He feeds on ashes, a deluded heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say,"is not this thing in my right hand a lie?" (Isaiah 44:20)
Eyes of steel looking at me
They used to be eyes of love
My heart is broke
Will it ever heal?
A great fear and sadness come over me
I pray and pray the promise, dear Father
Choices made, dear Jesus
The love came back, the eyes have changed
Forgiveness happens
Through eyes of love and what God has done
He is Gods, in His hands
He is released to Him for redemptions plan
Eyes of love looking back at me
His plan of grace and mercy wil be
In eyes of love
"I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me,
for I have redeemed you." (Isaiah 44:22)
