The guard at the door came forward
No, No, he didn't want to let me out
I said to the guard, please, oh please
Let me out in the sunshine
He said, I can not it isn't for me to do
The door was to heavy, I pushed and pushed
Freedom waited and the time of my life passed.
The guard was still there after a long sleep.
I tried again but now I'm old and tired.
The door is to heavy the guard did not age.
Only God can instruct the guard.
I have to choose to let Him,
then I have to choose to walk
Through the door.
Please God instruct the guard
Please God give me the strength
to walk through the door.
The sunshine is near I can see it.
The unknown is near, take away my fear Father and walk with me
Through the door.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
I can do everything through hime who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
